According to authorities, a construction worker, 45, was performing rehabilitation and construction tasks on scaffolding at a residential job site. Officials said he suddenly fell from the scaffold, landing inside the residence.

How a workers’ compensation attorney may help

An individual who is hurt on the job in North Carolina may want to consult a workers’ compensation attorney as soon as possible. An attorney can help the individual collect the necessary evidence, such as employment documents and medical records, to demonstrate a connection between the client’s work and injury. The attorney can then help the worker file a workers’ compensation claim, ensuring that the paperwork is accurate and complete, and represent the individual at any related hearings. The attorney will strive to help the individual secure the full benefit amount available to him or her following the workplace accident.
